Every entrant will receive a mention on our special Mother’s Day programme (2–4pm Sunday 15th March), providing sufficient information was provided in the competition entry email from the registrant.

The promoter of this competition is Mearns Community Radio Ltd, trading as Mearns FM.
Competition Name
The competition is titled “MOTHER’S DAY GIVEAWAY.”
Eligibility
The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over.
Employees, volunteers, and immediate family members of Mearns Community Radio Ltd, and of the prize partners, are not eligible to enter.
No purchase is necessary to enter.
How to Enter
To enter, email win@mearnsfm.org.uk with the subject line “Mother’s Day”.
Entries must include:
Entrant’s full name
Contact telephone number
A brief explanation of why their Mum, Grandmother, or someone who has been like a mum deserves this treat
Entries that are incomplete or received after the closing time may not be accepted.
Opening and Closing Dates
The competition opens upon announcement.
Entries close at 4:00pm on Thursday 12 March 2026.
Entries received after this time will not be included.
The Prize
One winner will receive a prize package consisting of:
A main meal for two (two courses; drinks not included) at The Leathan
A bouquet of flowers from Sam’s Flowers
A box of chocolates from Giulianotti’s
The prize must be redeemed on either Saturday 14 March or Sunday 15 March 2026 and is subject to availability.
There is no alternative prize, and the prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other items.
Winner Selection and Announcement
The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries.
The winner will be announced at 5:45pm on Drive Time with Knock John on Thursday 12 March 2026.
The winner will be contacted using the contact details provided in their entry.
Entrant Mentions on Air
Every entrant will receive a mention on Mearns FM’s Mother’s Day programme (2:00pm–4:00pm on Sunday 15 March 2026), provided sufficient information was supplied in the competition entry email.
By entering, entrants consent to their first name and submitted message being read on air.
Data Protection
Personal data supplied will be used solely for the administration of this competition and will not be shared with third parties except where necessary to fulfil the prize.
Data will be handled in accordance with UK data protection legislation.
General
Mearns Community Radio Ltd reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the competition at any time if circumstances beyond its control make this unavoidable.
The promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Scottish law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
