In addition to requests, dedications and community news, Smith On Sunday features interviews with writers and promotes local talent, interspersed with music, poetry and stories. She has written a series of childrens' stories - "Hurricane Hilda" - which she is reading aloud especially for her listeners, and she enjoys writing personalised poetry for special occasions: She is also the sister of J.J.
